Baa'd Al Wadaa is an Egyptian drama that opens with a cruel act of injustice: Salim callously divorces his pregnant wife Amina and leaves her to fend for herself. Determined to seek redress from his wealthy family at their estate, Amina sets off with a sympathetic young couple as companions. Tragedy strikes en route — an accident claims the lives of Amina and Nadia's husband, leaving Nadia to arrive alone at the estate. Salim's family mistakes her for their son's wife and welcomes her accordingly. When Salim discovers the confusion, he seizes the opportunity to blackmail Nadia, turning a moment of grief into a scheme for personal gain.
