Overview
Ashmawi is an Egyptian drama series centering on Sergeant Ahmed, an executioner responsible for carrying out death sentences. His professional world becomes entangled with personal tragedy when his daughter Awatef develops severe kidney failure and requires a transplant her family cannot afford. Her husband Fathi joins others in an armed robbery to raise the money, but the heist turns deadly when a guard is killed — pulling the family into a spiral of crime, guilt, and consequence that challenges everything Ahmed stands for.
