Overview

Prosecution Witness is an Egyptian political thriller that ignites with a shocking act of witness: journalist Salah watches from his balcony as a man throws a woman off the balcony of the building opposite. After reporting the crime to the police, Salah becomes the target of an assassination attempt once his story goes public. The investigation deepens when Salah recognizes the killer, Farid, on a televised program — seated next to senior official Alawi. As Lieutenant Colonel Fahmy leads a widening inquiry, it becomes clear that Alawi has been exploiting his government position to broker illegal arms deals.
