Aatef Tantawi

An Egyptian actor born in Cairo. He studied at the College of Social Service. He worked in the Ministry of Higher Education and took over the Department of Performing Arts. He loved fame since his childhood and wished to be famous in his city of Mahalla. He tried to play football and chose goalkeeping but failed. He began to love acting in middle school and participated in school plays. He began his artistic career in the mid-seventies. He became famous for playing the role of a detective in television series such as “The Family” and “Layali Al-Helmiya.” Yahya Al-Alami gave him a great opportunity in his artistic career and assigned him a major role in the series “Al-Zaini Barakat participated in dubbing children’s series. The last work he participated in was the third part of the series “Chess.” He died on March 9, 2018.
