Ana wa Inta wa Baba fil Mishmish is an Egyptian social drama and thriller series that exposes the dark networks of government corruption. When Abd al-Baqi al-Jawhari, played by Hassan Abdin, is appointed general manager of financial affairs, he uncovers deep-rooted fraud surrounding the Tohme village development project. His efforts to expose the wrongdoing backfire spectacularly when the corrupt beneficiaries frame him for embezzlement and have him imprisoned. His daughter Widad, portrayed by Firdous Abdel Hamid, teams up with Bashir Abu Al-Saad, played by Mahmoud Al-Jundi, in a determined fight to clear her father's name — only to realize the conspiracy runs far deeper than they ever suspected.
