Overview

Love in a Jail Cell is an Egyptian romantic comedy film starring the legendary Adel Imam and Soad Hosny. The story follows a young man who is manipulated into confessing to a crime he did not commit by the corrupt and greedy businessman Sharnouby, played by Jamil Ratib. Behind bars, he unexpectedly falls in love with a female prisoner named Faiza, and the two exchange heartfelt letters across the prison walls. Upon their release, they marry and plot a united revenge against the man who stole their freedom. A classic Egyptian romance with a satisfying comic edge.
