Ana Al-Doctor (I'm The Doctor) is an Egyptian social comedy that mines its humor and heart from the story of Ibrahim, a nurse who sets up a clinic in his village and passes himself off as a fully qualified doctor. To build his finances, he convinces healthy villagers they are ill — a scheme that works until his conscience starts catching up with him. Complicating matters further, he falls for Nadia, an orphan girl in the village, whose sincerity makes his deceptive life increasingly hard to justify.
