Overview
Molok Al Shar (Kings of Evil) is an Egyptian crime thriller starring screen legends Farid Shawqi and Mahmoud El-Meligy in a tense clash set in the shadowy underworld of drug smuggling. Shafiq, played by Farid Shawqi, is a seasoned crime boss who resolves to leave the dangerous trade behind — but not before pulling off one final, massive operation to secure his son's future. His longtime rival Al-Hout, portrayed by Mahmoud El-Meligy, learns of the plan and sets a trap, tipping off the police in a bid to have Shafiq arrested at his most vulnerable. What follows is a high-stakes game of deception as Shafiq and his men use cunning to outmaneuver both law enforcement and their enemies, escaping with the goods in a gripping finale. The film is a showcase for two titans of Egyptian cinema at the height of their powers.
