Overview
Escape to Hell is an Egyptian crime thriller that exposes a smuggling ring operating behind the glamorous facade of a fashion boutique. Mimi runs her shop as a front for smuggling gold abroad, in partnership with Mounir, a corrupt bank manager. When Nagwa, an unsuspecting employee, stumbles upon the secrets of her employer's illegal operations, she becomes a dangerous liability. Mounir resorts to drugging and manipulating her to keep her silent — then offers a bank loan as a bribe. The film is a tense exploration of corruption, exploitation, and the dangerous cost of knowing too much.
