Anwar Hassouna

An Egyptian actor, born in 1916, who began his artistic activity in the 1950s. He worked in cinema and television, playing the role of an employee, a fraudster, a waiter, and a lawyer. He can be seen in the role of Hassouna, brother of Ilham Al-Qurashi (Mimi Shakib), in the movie “The Adventures of Khadra” in 1950. Among his films are “The Accused” 1957, “Masoud Saeed Why” 1983, “The Volcano” 1990, and “The Lover’s Imagination” 1997. Among the series he worked in are “Tears in Shameless Eyes” 1980, “Al Harafish” 2002, and “The Caller” 2005.
