Playing with Fire is an Egyptian thriller weaving together diamond smuggling, dangerous secrets, and unexpected danger. When Sumaya seeks protection from Ezzat, claiming unknown pursuers are closing in on her, he discovers that her husband Mohsen is a member of a diamond smuggling ring led by the criminal Shawkat. Mohsen intercepts a map revealing the location of hidden smuggled diamonds and passes it to Sumaya, who alerts the police. Before justice can be served, one of Shawkat's operatives attacks Sumaya, and Ezzat arrives at exactly the wrong moment, suddenly thrust into the heart of a dangerous criminal web. The film delivers escalating suspense as innocent bystanders are drawn into a world of crime and betrayal.
