Agent 77 is an Egyptian espionage thriller in which an international spy ring, disguised as a foreign film crew, infiltrates Egypt to photograph sensitive military installations on microfilm. The operation goes awry when the microfilm accidentally ends up in the hands of three ordinary young men — aspiring cinema workers who find themselves witnesses to a brutal murder and suddenly targets of the gang. To bring the network down, a seasoned police officer goes undercover, posing as the brother of the murdered man to penetrate the espionage cell from within. A fast-paced thriller blending intrigue, action, and Cold War-era tension.
