Ahmed Suleiman Mahdi Abaza was born in Rabamaria, the center of Minya al-Qamh, Sharkia Governorate. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, then studied at the Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1957. He worked in theater at the beginning of his life. He was an actor who worked in second roles, in terms of the type of roles he played and the characters he embodied. He played the role of a man with thick features and a heart, such as the role of the mute in Bahiyya, and the role of the building guard in Fear. Among his plays are The Mule in the Ewer, Long Live the Wafd, Yassin and Bahiyya, and on television he worked in Al-Raheel, Al-Saqiyah, Al-Lisn Al-Mur, and Asmaa Allah Al-Husani. He received a number of Eid awards.
