The Seventh Sin, is a 1996 Egyptian movie, directed by Abdul Latif Zaki, and starring Faten Farid, Farouq Al Fishawy. Aaidah Riyadh.
The Seventh Sin is an Egyptian dramatic thriller in which Safy discovers that her husband is having an affair with the household maid. Rather than reacting with overt confrontation, she engineers a methodical act of revenge: she arranges for the maid's husband to divorce her, clearing the path for her own husband to marry the maid. Once Shawkat does exactly that, Safy calmly files for divorce herself and returns to running her successful tourism business on her own terms. The film is a sharp, controlled study of feminine agency and strategic retribution in a traditional social setting, examining what it means to reclaim dignity without losing composure.
