Overview

A'ntar Zamano is an Egyptian thriller built around the dangerous game of blackmail and deception. Al-Namar, a former intelligence officer dismissed from service, hatches a scheme to extort high-ranking officials by exploiting classified knowledge. He manipulates the naive photographer Antar into believing he is still working as an active intelligence agent, convincing him to covertly film a senior official. Once the incriminating footage is secured, Al-Namar turns on Antar and attempts to eliminate him by any means necessary. The film delivers a tense cat-and-mouse chase that examines how ordinary people become entangled in the schemes of those with power and secrets to protect.
