Nadia Rafeek

An Egyptian actress, born on February 8, 1935, whose full name is Nadia Rafiq Habib She began her artistic career at the end of the fifties by working on Egyptian Radio, then joined television when it opened in 1960, and worked in television evenings and serials. She also worked in television films. At the beginning of the eighties, she worked in films, and her first film was “The People of the Summit” in 1981 with Souad Hosni. She always played the role of mother. I also participated in writing stories and scenarios for some television shows. Among her most important series are “Dreams of the Flying Boy” 1978, “She and the Impossible” 1979, “Brother of Girls” 1984, “Friends” 2002, and “Bab Al-Khalq” 2012. Her films include “Furnished Cemeteries for Rent” 1986, “Terrorism” 1989, “Below Zero” 1990, and “Danger Recorder” 1991. She is Tawhida, the mother of Siham Nour Al-Hassan (Iman Al-Toukhi) in the movie “Blood on the Asphalt” 1992, and she is the mother of Muhammad Sayed Ahmed (Abdullah Mahmoud) in the TV movie “Tala’ Al-Nakhl” 1988. She can also be seen in the role of an old widow who wants to borrow from the bank to go on Hajj in the movie “Woman Under Surveillance” 2000 with Nabila Obaid.
