An Egyptian actor, born in the city of Mansoura in Dakahlia Governorate in 1938. He graduated from the Acting Department of the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1964, and rose through various artistic ranks while working in the artistic house of the theater and obtained the title of a capable artist. He also assumed the responsibility of supervising the Mansoura National Theater, and participated in starring in many cinematic films, evening parties, and television series. He was famous for playing the roles of the son of the country or the evil gang member. Among his works are: (The Innocent, A File on Arts, Agent No. 13, Letter to the Governor, Sadat Days). He died in 2001 after suffering a heart attack.
