Overview
Al-Shahat is a psychological Arabic drama series that tracks the inner collapse of Omar Al-Hamzawi, a lawyer living a seemingly stable life with his wife Zainab and daughters Jamila and Buthaina. After a serious illness, Omar travels to Alexandria seeking relief from deepening depression, only to find his condition worsening upon his return. He spirals into a life of nightclubs and fleeting relationships, including an encounter with singer Margaret, before swinging to the opposite extreme — isolation, Sufism, and spiritual devotion.
