An Egyptian actor, he was born in the city of Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate, in 1953. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University. Coincidence led him to enter the field of acting. At first, the director (Shaker Khudair) discovered him while he was still a university student, and he offered him to star in the play (Carnival of Ghosts). He agreed. He considered acting just a hobby even after he graduated from university. Then, theater director Jalal Al-Sharqawi offered him admission to the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. Director Fahmi Al-Khouly hired him to play a small role in the play (Hostages), which paved the way for him to perform many supporting roles in dozens of television works, including: (Brother of Girls, The Night of Fatima’s Arrest, The Journey of Mr. Abu Al-Ela Al-Bishri, and The White Flag). He also participated in many cinematic films, including: (A call for help from the other world, Why is the sea laughing? We received the following statement).
