Overview
Taht Al-Ard (Underground) is an Egyptian action thriller starring Amir Karara as Gamal Al-Jabali, a state security officer who becomes a hired mercenary for a shadow faction determined to keep the country in perpetual chaos in order to maintain its grip on power. When Gamal falls for Tuline, played by Turkish star Songul Odin, he discovers she is trapped in a violent marriage to Al-Mahdy (Hatem Ali), a ruthless mafia boss with ties to the very people pulling Gamal's strings. A high-stakes collision of political corruption, organised crime, and forbidden love from one of Arabic television's most intense drama productions.
