An Egyptian actor, his full name is (Farouk Muhammad Youssef). He was born in the city of Port Said in 1943. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He worked throughout his career in theatre, cinema, and television. He acted in the films (My Father is on the Tree, Karnak, Uncle Zizo Habibi, The Secret Session, Al-Harif), and he also acted in the series (One Thousand and One Nights, Al-Ayyam, Hind and Dr. Noman, Judiciary in Islam, and Al-Halawani Gate). He died in 2004 from a sudden heart attack.
