Overview
Tar Bayt is an Egyptian social drama set in a rural village dominated by the tyrannical Adham Al-Gabalawy, played by Hussein Al-Sherbini. When a widow refuses his marriage proposal, Adham exacts his revenge by driving her and her young children from the village. The film follows her years of hardship as she raises her sons alone, until one of them, Rajab — portrayed by Al-Shahat Mabrouk — grows up consumed by a burning desire to avenge the injustice inflicted on his family. A powerful story of oppression, perseverance, and retribution.
