Light and Fire is an Egyptian drama film set in a rural village, where Sharqi Al-Dayah raises her only son Ahmed — a spoiled, directionless young man easily swayed by those around him. When Ahmed falls under the influence of the cunning Bandariya Al-Ghazia, she manipulates him into considering the unthinkable: killing his own mother, who refuses to sanction their marriage. Ahmed enlists the fugitive Asran to carry out the deed — but a chain of dramatic twists overturns the plan and exposes the consequences of blind infatuation and weak character.
