Overview
The Kidnappers is an Egyptian thriller about justice, revenge, and the aftermath of being conned. Workshop owner Jalal Abu Al-Majd travels to Germany to buy new machinery, leaving his older brother Sherif in charge. The smooth-talking swindler Hassanein and his accomplice Gina lure Sherif into a fake equipment deal worth twenty-five thousand pounds — only for Sherif to discover the boxes contain nothing but red building bricks. Furious and humiliated, Sherif wants to kill the pair and recover his money. When Jalal returns from Germany to find his brother entangled in the mess, the two must navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Cairo's criminal underworld.
