The corrupt lawyer Mohaseb Awadallah recruits small-time thief Salah to steal sensitive documents from the vault of a major investment company. The operation succeeds, but Salah's growing confidence and influence soon feel threatening to the lawyer — a man who tolerates tools, not partners. He arranges to eliminate Salah by deploying another thief, Shaqroun, to do his dirty work.
