Lawahez is an Egyptian drama built around a shattering family revelation. Lawahiz is a celebrated dancer and singer in Cairo's nightclub world, seemingly in control of her life — until tragedy strikes her family. When both her father, Master Azab, and her mother are sentenced to prison, Lawahiz visits them, only to receive a devastating secret: the man she has known as her father all her life is not her biological parent, and she is the daughter of another man entirely. The discovery upends her sense of identity and sends her on an emotionally charged journey into her past, as old bonds are questioned and the truth proves far more complicated than she ever imagined.
