Overview
A Crime in the Calm Neighbourhood is an Egyptian historical drama based on the real-life assassination of Lord Moyne, the British Minister for the Colonies, carried out by a Jewish militant group as retribution for his support of the Palestinian cause. Following the killing, Major Abdullah arrests the two perpetrators, and Detective Ahmed Ezzat takes the lead on the investigation. In a bid to unravel the full conspiracy, Ezzat infiltrates the gang from within, navigating a treacherous world of political intrigue and ideological conflict.
