Overview
Hikayat Gharam is an Arabic comedy-drama woven around deception, misplaced loyalties, and romantic entanglement. Sherif, a duplicitous young man entrusted with collecting building revenues, diverts the money away from his rightful cousin Maha and into the hands of the dancer Sheeta. When word arrives that Sheeta's brother Wajih is returning from America to Beirut to manage her affairs, Sherif hatches a reckless plan to kidnap him and keep him under control — setting off a chain of comic and dramatic consequences. A story of love, greed, and schemes unraveling in unexpected directions.
