Festival of Love is an Arabic romantic comedy set aboard a ship sailing to Beirut. Sambuksa, a spirited young artist, crosses paths with Najwa — the daughter of the head of a folk arts society — and the two impulsively decide to marry while intoxicated. When sobriety returns the next morning, Sambuksa has second thoughts and moves to divorce her. Unwilling to give up without a fight, Najwa engineers a clever scheme to reignite his jealousy and rekindle the spark between them.
