
An Egyptian actor, he was born in Alexandria on August 9, 1929. He began his artistic career in the early fifties. He is a comedic actor who played several secondary roles in Egyptian cinema until the mid-sixties. Then he moved to Lebanon and worked in Lebanese cinema, where he acted and wrote the stories, scripts and dialogue of many films. Then he moved with his family to Canada, where he died there on March 4, 2006. He can be seen in the role of the waiter, Faleh, in the movie “The Tiger” in 1952, and the role of the archaeological expert, Fouad, the engineer’s assistant, Ahmed (Kamal El-Shennawy), in the Lebanese movie, “The Bedouin in Love” in 1963.
