Overview

Streams is a Tunisian drama film that follows Amel, a factory worker trapped in a difficult marriage with Taher, a former footballer turned alcoholic. Their son Moumen is a gifted goalkeeper who inherited his father's love for the sport. Desperate to secure a future for her son, Amel falls into the trap of Emad, a wealthy man who exploits her vulnerability under the guise of help. She is unjustly arrested and imprisoned. Upon her release, Amel embarks on a heartbreaking search through the broken streets of Tunis for her missing son, confronting a society in moral and social ruin. The film is a raw portrait of maternal sacrifice, class inequality, and the human cost of injustice.
