Overview
The Pearl Necklace is an Arabic romantic drama film set in a rural village, following Salem, a simple farmer deeply devoted to Bedour, the girl he loves and hopes to marry. When a letter falls into his hands that he believes is addressed to her, the truth it reveals shatters his world: Bedour has been corresponding with Ghawar, a man returning from abroad who brings with him a pearl necklace as a gift of love. The film tenderly explores jealousy, longing, and the heartbreak of loving someone whose heart belongs elsewhere.
