Sahifat Al-Sawabek (The Criminal Record) is an Egyptian crime drama following a young man who squanders his wealth and descends into criminality by joining a money-counterfeiting gang. Along the way he falls in love with a singer and marries her, but his arrest and imprisonment give the gang's leader the opening to pursue his wife. Upon his release, the protagonist burns with the desire for revenge, only to find the gang boss escalating his attacks by sabotaging his attempts to rebuild an honest livelihood. The film weaves together jealousy, betrayal, and the desperate struggle to reclaim one's dignity after a life derailed by crime.
