Overview

The Young Parents is an Arabic family drama series that chronicles the resilience of Wadoud Abdel-Rahman, a police assistant and father of four whose life is upended by the sudden death of his wife Radia. A woman who had worked tirelessly at a hotel to support the family and fund her husband's university education, her passing leaves the household financially crippled. Forced to work as a cab driver alongside his main job, Wadoud abandons his studies — until his four devoted children secretly band together, taking on work and sacrificing comforts to raise money for their father's tuition, fulfilling their late mother's dying wish. The arrival of Amal, an Egyptian cultural researcher who rents a room in the family home, introduces a delicate new dynamic as the children fear she may replace the mother they cherish.
