An Egyptian director, screenwriter, and interior designer, of Syrian origin. His beginnings were as an actor, when he traveled to the United States in three films, and played small roles in American films. He executed the scenes for the film (The Honeymoon) in 1945. He worked as an assistant director in many films, including (Afrita Hanem) in 1949, (Habib Al-Omar) in 1946, and (The Beach of Love) in 1950. He returned to Beirut in the early sixties, and directed many Films between Damascus and Lebanon.
