Overview
Me, My Wife and My Lover is an Egyptian comedy film following Adel, a veterinarian suffocating under the overwhelming attention and constant surveillance of his devoted wife Awatif, who tracks his every move including at work. Longing for the easy freedom he sees his father-in-law enjoy, Adel's restlessness comes to a head when he meets Huda, a young widow, at his wedding anniversary party. As their encounters multiply and Awatif shows no signs of changing her ways, Adel finds himself at a comic crossroads between marital duty and the dream of breathing room — with plenty of awkward and funny situations along the way.
