Egyptian poet, composer and author. His poetic and artistic talent appeared when he was a high school student in the Canal region, where he lived and was one of its sons. When he moved to Cairo and settled there, he met the people’s poet “Bayram al-Tunisi,” who advised him, after showing him some of his productions, to turn to drama. He wrote a novel called “Najma Boulak” and participated in establishing a troupe that specialized in presenting its performances in regions in various governorates. Then his name rose to prominence as an author of theatrical plays with the encouragement of the comprehensive artist Salah Jahin. He wrote plays: “Cairo in a Thousand Years” which was shown at the Balloon Theater and “Hello Dolly” by Fouad Al-Muhandis. Al-Rihani’s troupe presented three plays for him: The Thieves. Who doesn't love Zoba? Delicious horror.. and he wrote for Samir Ghanem and the Theater Adwaa Trio Band “Faris and Bani Khayban”, “My Brother Hayes and I am Lais” and “Me, the System and Your Hawaak”... in addition to writing songs and performances for the plays: Hala, Habibi.
