Al-Wad Al-Ghaby is an Egyptian comedy-crime film revolving around Muftah, an honest and good-natured man who divorces his wife Wafaa after she confesses to a past relationship with a man named Ezzat. His quiet life is upended when Ezzat secretly plants a valuable necklace in Muftah's jacket pocket to avoid detection during a criminal handoff. Suddenly, Muftah becomes the unwitting target of a dangerous gang led by Abu Saree, all of whom are determined to reclaim the necklace — making for a fast-paced comedic chase.
