Overview

Desire and Loss is an Egyptian thriller that tracks Abdullah, a parking attendant who becomes a hunted fugitive after killing the thug Magdy in self-defense — only to find himself also accused of murdering Nawal, a woman connected to the crime. Desperate and cornered, Abdullah takes refuge in a wealthy family's villa, holding the family — Murad, his wife, and their young son — hostage as he tries to secure an escape route. What unfolds is a tense standoff between a man trapped by circumstance and a family caught in a crisis not of their making, as the walls close in from every direction.
