Overview
The Postman is a classic Egyptian comedy following a small-town postman who travels to Cairo on leave to visit his son. What begins as a simple family trip quickly turns into a series of comic entanglements: he is smitten by a belly dancer and sets his heart on marrying her, then crosses paths with a gang of counterfeiters and pursues them through the city until the police can arrest them.
