Egyptian actress and dancer, born in Tanta in 1924. She shined in cinema in the 1940s. She retired from acting in the early 1950s after her marriage, then returned to it and moved away again to work in freelance work and devote herself to raising her son. She participated in many cinematic works during the boom in cinema in the 1940s and 1950s. Most of the time, she played the role of a dancer, especially since this was her original profession. Her films include (Banat Al-Rif), (Kid Al-Nisa), (The Mermaid), and (Al-Mualim Bulbul), and this last film is her only starring role. But she decided to retire and stay away from the spotlight at the end of the same period in which she shined, after she made 18 films in seven years, the duration of her work. She decided to be content with what she presented in cinema before moving on to work in commerce in a store that she established when she was 29 years old.
