Al-Anissa Busa is an Egyptian romantic comedy built around a charming social experiment devised by the wealthy Fouzy Pasha for his daughter's sake: her future husband must choose her for who she is, not for the fortune she stands to inherit. To test suitors, the Pasha stages a theatrical bankruptcy, moves into a modest neighborhood, and takes to the streets playing the piano while his daughter sings alongside him.
