A Lebanese actress and singer, born in Turkey in 1924. She loved music since childhood. She met the artist Youssef Wehbe during one of his visits to Lebanon, and he admired her talent. She signed a contract with him for a period of 5 years, and moved to Cairo with her father. She appeared for the first time in the movie (Jawhara) in 1943. During the ten years that Nour Al-Huda spent in Cairo, she participated in acting and singing in many musical films, Among them: Glory and Tears, Shabak Habibi, and she worked with many composers, including Riad Al-Sunbati, Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab, and Muhammad Al-Qasabji. Nour Al-Huda left Egypt after her last film (The Wisdom of Qaraqoush), which she made in 1953 due to the harassment practiced by the Tax Authority, which required her not to hold any concerts and only sing in films.
