Al-Omr Ayam is an Egyptian social drama centered on Fathi Salem, a brilliant engineering graduate whose ambition leads him to set his sights on Widad, the daughter of his manager Rasem Bey, as a shortcut to wealth and status. Her family's class snobbery shuts the door firmly — they consider Fathi beneath them. Undeterred, Fathi engineers a chance encounter with Widad through Elham's art exhibition, wagering that personal charm can overcome social prejudice. The film is a sharp portrait of youthful ambition, class barriers, and the lengths people will go to climb the social ladder.
