Egyptian director and screenwriter, born January 11, 1914.
He began his work as a critic in Al-Ahram newspaper, and traveled to America to study psychology and propaganda.
He began as a screenwriter and made his first film (Shatti Al-Gharam) in 1950, in collaboration with Ali Al-Zarqani.
His films include (My Life, You), (River of Love), and (Prince of Cunning).
He traveled to Lebanon in 1960 and directed a number of films, including:
(The Cute Thief), and her first directing film was (The Age of Days)
He began moving between Lebanon and Egypt, writing scripts and dialogue in many films.
He died on January 11, 1974, of a heart attack.
