An Egyptian singer and actress, born in Tanta in 1932. She traveled to Cairo in 1948, then took up radio in 1950 and was discovered by Muhammad Al-Kahlawi. She participated in the two films (The Wedding Night, I Sacrifice My Love) in the same year by singing, and then she acted in the film (Antar and Lablab) the following year. Among her most prominent works in cinema are (I Love You, Hassan, Bint Al-Badia), while among her most prominent songs are (From My love for you, my neighbor, Abu Taqiyya Shabika), she passed away in 1994.
