Malak Elgamal

An Egyptian actress, born in Port Said in 1929. She joined the Faculty of Arts, English Department, and then the Higher Institute of Acting Arts. Despite her instability in Cairo, she was able to graduate from it successfully. I joined the radio and then worked in the theatre. I traveled with the Dean of Arab Theater (Youssef Wehbe) to Paris and performed many works with the Modern Egyptian Troupe in 1954. (My Aunt Bamba) is the decisive character in the life of (Malak Al-Jamal), which she performed in the mid-sixties of the last century and the most famous character for her, and the name is now given by many to the talkative character who interferes in what does not concern her. I acted with the greats of the art world, and I stood opposite (Souad Hosni) in the movie (Shafiqa and Metwally) in the role of (the pimp). She also played influential roles in the films (The Maghnawati, The Impossible, The Dead End, Raya and Sakina) and appeared on the silver screen through the series: (The Doghari Family, Cairo and the People, Rose Leaves, and Al-Sakia). She died at the age of 53, on December 23, 1982.
