Overview
Life is Love is an Egyptian musical romance film starring the iconic Layla Murad as Layla, a Red Crescent volunteer nurse tending to the wounded during the Palestine War. She falls deeply in love with officer Adel, portrayed by Yahya Shaheen, but a devastating enemy raid leaves Adel with a serious spinal injury. Choosing to protect Layla from his suffering, he disappears from her life — and believing him dead, she agrees to marry her colleague Dr. Tawfiq. When the truth resurfaces, Layla must navigate an impossible choice between duty and love in this emotionally resonant classic of Egyptian cinema.
