Yawm El Hesab is an Egyptian dramatic thriller that opens with a dark secret: Inayat's illicit ties to Amin Abdel Salam, a man convicted of embezzlement and sent to prison. On his release, Amin's sole intent is revenge, and he methodically worms his way into the lives of Inayat's husband — lawyer Ahmed — and their daughter. When Amin is murdered, Ahmed becomes the prime suspect and is sentenced to fifteen years behind bars, leaving Inayat to hold together a crumbling life built on lies and buried truths she cannot afford to reveal to her own child. The series is a layered drama of guilt, justice, and the secrets families keep to survive.
