Sakhrat al-Hubb is an Arabic romantic drama following Adel Sami, a journalist and editor-in-chief whose world is shattered when he discovers his wife's infidelity. Hauled before the courts on a murder charge, he receives a suspended sentence and resolves to leave his broken past behind, relocating to Beirut to start over as a working journalist. At his side is his beautiful secretary, whose warmth and affection begin to rekindle emotions he had thought extinguished. The film is a brooding exploration of betrayal, reinvention, and the fragile possibility of love after heartbreak, set against the vibrant backdrop of Beirut.
